from 380 reviews on GoogleGot a major service and ZF8 gearbox service for my 125d by Autowerx. Ben the service manager was very knowledgeable and advised that the gearbox wasn’t needed to be done for another 10k miles (appreciated the honesty). However since my car has had few mods remapped both engine, gearbox, intercooler. I went all out as I wanted to feel the power, if there’s any difference? My curiosity paid off, car is so much more responsive now and lot more aggressive in pulling with the oil change. Ben did also recommend to reset the adaptation value of the gearbox, it has something to do with gearbox behaviour changes as the oil degrades. I’d recommend any BMW owners to use Autowerx for their vehicle maintenance these boy’s know what they’re doing
This is my first time to use the services provided by Autowerx Service and it was a good experience. The prices are more reasonable compared to the main dealer and the works are finished to a high standard. Definitely I will come again for future maintenance and services for my BMW X1.
Just wanted to share a review from my first and recent visit to Autowerx. I have an older BMW 1 series (2005) which has had a a few problems over the last few months, problems which two other local garages (well known national brands) had failed to diagnose - some said wheel bearing then told me it wasn't and probably the rear diff making noise; then told they cant remove driveshaft to take a deeper look for bearing etc leaving me with some frustrating conversations and a car with the same issues. It was even more confusing as the car had passed it's MOT with no concerns, despite evident audible issues. Anyway, after biting the bullet and calling a local specialist (Autowerx) I was called back by Matt at the garage after an initial inspection to advise that they knew what all the issues were and were honest about the labour involved etc. (ABS rings/Sensors and wheel bearing after all). He even kindly offered to check over the vehicle just to be sure I wasn't about to pay for this repair with the possibility of having more things about to go wrong. So, I knew where I stood on cost before agreeing to the repairs, so was ultimately my choice to proceed, or not. I decided to go ahead and on my return to collecting the vehicle everything was smooth. After driving around now for a month (ish) I can safely say all problems are fixed! Car is driving great and I would wholeheartedly recommend them. It's difficult to find a trusted garage in this day and age - but they certainly buck that trend! Will definitely return. Thanks. After a spark plug blew out on my car, I was left stranded and worried about how long it would take to get back on the road. I contacted Autowerx, and they not only reassured me but also got straight to work. In less than 24 hours, my car was fixed and running smoothly again. The team was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, explaining exactly what had gone wrong and how they were going to fix it. Their quick turnaround and attention to detail were impressive, and the price was very reasonable for such efficient service. I highly recommend Autowerx to anyone in Milton Keynes looking for a reliable, skilled, and customer-focused garage. Thank you, Autowerx, for getting me back on the road so quickly!
I first came to Matt years ago when I was having a bunch of issues with my 2010 MINI - he diagnosed the issues straight away and was really helpful and transparent with what was going on and what needed to be done to get it all sorted. Have since taken my new MINI (and even a Fiat) to Matt and the team at Autowerx over the years and wouldn't go anywhere else! Really lovely guys and you know your car is in great hands with them. See you next year for the service on the MINI!
