from 30 reviews on GoogleOur car decided not to start on Thursday (after just coming back from having a new clutch and flywheel fit), unable to drive it anywhere we called a local mechanic, who wasn't able to see the car for another week. So my wife found AGS and gave them a call, Andy came the next day, attempted the fix the but due to the damage caused from some human error from the previous garage we required a new starter motor. Due to it being late on a Friday, Andy said he would get quote to us on Saturday and come Monday to fit. Price was excellent, to add to the already excellent service. Would 100% recommend and will use Andy again. Thank you.
Andy is always there at the drop of hat. He communicates really well and is really accommodating to get you the work you need completed when you need it the most. Cheers Andy
After being quoted prices waaaay beyond my budget for an engine swap I called Andy and he gave me a price that was both reasonable and within budget. He maintained contact all throughout the process as the work would take quite a long time, but even then I got the car back far sooner than I'd expected. If I'd used a different mechanic I'm sure it would take months - not weeks. He came out multiple times and he did everything he could to keep the costs down on my behalf. Most mechanics find imaginary faults to charge you through the roof for but Andy is an honest guy and that honesty provides him loyal customers and after having him do work on my car I won't be going anywhere else.
AGS Mechanics what a life saver and a brilliant mechanic. Andy came out to my rescue today and visited me and my poorly car and has given up his Sunday to fix my car today..... I can not fault the service whatsoever and got my car up and running again in no time at all. Andy is very knowledgeable and efficient and i love the fact he said he would be here at a certain time and was. Myself and my friends will be using Andy's services again and again and i thankyou for such a pleasant professional service, 'not often this happens in this day and age and definitely not a rip off merchant either like other mechanics we have used prior and best of all mobile too. thanks again Andy.
I have been going to Andy for 5 years now and he does a perfect job every single time. Eventhough i live in Preston, i mske the journey down to Blackburn because nobody comes close to him. I dropped my car off for a MASSIVE job and I couldn't be happier with the result. He pretty much rebuild the engine for me and the price he charged was so much less than expected. Amazing service, really fair prices and a genuine honest man. I would recommend everyone out there to visit Andy for ANY issue you have with your car. There's nothing the man can't do... Cheers Andy!
