I then booked it in with him and I was expecting a far larger bill with various parts to change. But he actually just replaced a couple of parts and the rest was cleaning and removing rust. I've only used his business once so far but found it a very positive experience. I would definitely recommend him.
I can say for certain, Adam is THE BEST mechanic I've had the great good luck to find!! A very friendly, approachable guy he absolutely went more than the extra mile to get my car back to its usual reliability. He discussed options with me and ran all the testing necessary. A car I thought might be at the end of its usefulness is going strong once again! Adam's Autocare is at the top of my contacts (& not just alphabetically... I'm telling everyone about his service & attention to detail!).
We honestly wouldnt trust anyone as much as we Trust Adams Autocare with not just our own fleet of vehicles, but I also drive nearly 15 miles so they can do my own families cars. you dont often get a garage that gives you 100% honesty. best we've come across.
I booked my car in for a service and MOT for the first time with Adam. his politeness was immediately noticeable and refreshing. the service was carried out on time as promised, the car needed some extra work which Adam was honest about and gave me the option to defer as they weren't MOT failures. I decided to have Adam do the works which were again done promptly and professionally, the price was very reasonable and would have been far less than larger competitors. after all replaced parts were shown to me and they were clearly in need of changing so i am confident Adam is honest as well as polite and professional. I will definitely be going back, I don't see the need to go elsewhere, he is a one man band so its nice to support local people instead of massive companies for a change.
Came to London for a family break and had an emergency with the car on the way home back up north. By chance we drove past and luckily Adam was still in the garage working. Even though it was after working hours Adam said he would take a look straight away and see if he could help us out. He quickly found what the problem was and did a temp fix, which was more than enough to get us home to Lancashire. If it wasn't for Adam, the family and I would have been left stranded. He could have easily said he was closed, especially as he told us he was going on holiday the next day. On top of that he also didn't charge us for his time which shows how genuine he is as he could see how distressed the family were. Amazing guy and top mechanic. If I was local i would be using his services regularly.
