Running a small business that requires travel to and from clients premises on a daily basis dictates that the car used is kept in full working order, and available 24:7. Running a household with two children each with their own cars of varying reliability presents its own challenges …. Andy Budden of ABS Vehicle Engineers in Lynchford Lane, Farnborough has been maintaining both the vehicle I use for business, and the other cars in my household for the last year. He has always provided a superb standard of service, managing MOT’s, servicing , and repairs where required in a timely and professional manner, all at reasonable rates. I have no hesitation in recommending Andy Budden of ABS Vehicle Engineers to any individual or corporate client who may require vehicle servicing or repairs to their cars or commercial vehicles.
After blowing the head gasket on my 1966 S Type Jag en route to Goodwood, I found myself stranded. Andy was kind enough to offer a hand on a Sunday and so I decided to leave the car with him to be repaired. He offered a fantastic, honest and quality service and I cannot fault anything about my experience with him. 100% recommendation especially if you have a classic.
Google won't let me post a separate second review but Andy helped me recently when part of my car's underside covering failed and began to drag along the road. He came up with a quick fix which solved the problem and didn't involve an expensive trip to the main dealer! He's a great chap! :-) First review: Had my Mazda serviced by Andy this week and he was quick and efficient. He even noticed the battery in my key fob was running low and put a new one in for me. I would recommend Andy to anyone who wants their car dealt with by someone who is honest and hard working and doesn't hide behind a garage dealership with their ridiculous pricing. Should dock him half a point for the lack of signage outside his garage which makes it hard to find if you don't know where you're going - come on Andy - sort out a couple of small direction signs. You never know it might even bring in passing trade from the business park next door.
As someone who really values service, professionalism and the ability to convey information I think Andy Budden is a 5* mechanic. Andy services and MOTs both of our cars and has completed various work at great rates including replacing a shock and providing an MOT at short notice. He’s trustworthy. A family man. He knows a great deal about cars and does exactly what you need and more at a great price. 100% recommended. Jack Taylor.
