Can I get my money back if I am not happy with the outcome of my MOT?

If your vehicle failed it's MOT test at one of our garages, but you believe that your car should have passed, you'll have the option to take your car to another garage to do a new MOT test. If your vehicle passes the MOT at another garage we’ll refund you the MOT test fees.

Please be aware that any collection and delivery charges are non-refundable.

How do I claim?

To make a claim, please speak to our support team before you take your car to a different garage.

We’ll require the MOT bill from your new garage and the official MOT pass result (available from the Government's website). You will have 7 days in which to take your vehicle to a different garage for the MOT test.

In the event that the MOT fails its MOT at the new garage as well, we will not be able to honour the money-back guarantee and will not be liable for any additional costs incurred.
