Failure of the condenser can occur when the condenser starts leaking. The condenser has tubes and seals, both of which can leak with normal wear and tear. Another cause of condenser failure is metallic debris blockage, which makes it difficult to circulate the refrigerant. This debris is often the result of a failing or defective AC compressor where internal parts of the compressor come apart and disperse metallic debris throughout the system.

Can't get more convenient than someone turning up, taking the car from the house for it's service and MOT and returning it a few hours later. No having to drive to a garage (often miles from anywhere or in the middle of an industrial estate), hanging around waiting, dealing with salespeople & receptionists, just book the service and pickup/drop off time online, make sure you're in when they come to collect the car and several hours later it's sat back outside the house whilst you've been busy getting on with your day. The garage did call me the night before to remind me I had my service and other than handing over the keys that's the only interaction I had with a real person. The price was reasonable too (compared to a main dealer), they do offer add-ons that can soon add up (premium oil change, deluxe MOT, etc.) but that's your choice and it's up to you if you don't fancy paying extra.
