We used Fixter for an MoT on our van. Everything went really smoothly. They contacted us to let us know when they were going to arrive, collected the van from its parking space and returned it a couple of hours later with an MoT.
Overall, very pleased! It saved all the hassle of taking time off work to take the van to a garage ourselves.

My vehicle was completed in one day. The mechanics were able to free up seized calipers instead of needing to replace them therefore saving me money.

Update: following the review, Fixter reached out and confirmed that the oil was indeed changed.
Original review:
I booked an oil change at a local garage. The vehicle pick up process was seamless, the driver was there on time, I handed over and confirmed the services to be performed, I have also given the service book for the oil change to be recorded.
The driver called me several hours later to confirm the drop off and arrived as agreed. To my surprise, he handed me a new MOT certificate (that was not overdue and I have not ordered) and the service book without any new entries.
I contacted customer service requesting the proof of work that I ordered being done (confirmation of the oil change from the garage) and while the customer service agent was very helpful, I have never received it. So I don't know what work (apart from the MOT that I hadn't ordered) was actually done and I will need to do it again, defeating the purpose of the entire undertaking. I am going to ask for a refund either from Fixter or credit card provider.
