Update: following the review, Fixter reached out and confirmed that the oil was indeed changed.
Original review:
I booked an oil change at a local garage. The vehicle pick up process was seamless, the driver was there on time, I handed over and confirmed the services to be performed, I have also given the service book for the oil change to be recorded.
The driver called me several hours later to confirm the drop off and arrived as agreed. To my surprise, he handed me a new MOT certificate (that was not overdue and I have not ordered) and the service book without any new entries.
I contacted customer service requesting the proof of work that I ordered being done (confirmation of the oil change from the garage) and while the customer service agent was very helpful, I have never received it. So I don't know what work (apart from the MOT that I hadn't ordered) was actually done and I will need to do it again, defeating the purpose of the entire undertaking. I am going to ask for a refund either from Fixter or credit card provider.

Super Convenient!!
I was sceptical at the beginning because of some negative reviews however I trusted my gut. Fixter is super convenient!! i barely had to lift a finger. my only critic would be the garage collected the car a lot later then agreed. I had to take time off work for that and it wasn't communicated. other then that a perfect service 10/10 and will definitely be using again next year

Everything went as clockwork, my Tiguan was picked up on time by a very polite man and was back 4 hours later after having had its first MOT and a full service. I asked for a garage stamp as it is a lease car and the leasing company requires this, it was provided with no fuss. I googled the garage that did the work and they had very good reviews, so I felt confident that the work was done to a reasonable standard. I've seen other negative reviews, which did make me nervous, but mine is a fairly new car, still under warranty, so I wouldn't have expected any issues.
