They handled everything from part sourcing, coding, fix and fitting. I was well informed about the possible timeframe of new part arriving and repair length. Despite the fact my car didn't arrive at them, until the afternoon. Sean and Ian got a day's job done in just a few hours. Even staying on late to ensure my car was back to me the next day. I very rarely leave reviews, but on this occasion, Dorset Auto Diagnostics totally deserves some recognition! Out of the blue last Thursday morning, our dependable family VW Passat wouldn't start on our driveway. From a quick google, I found Dorset Auto Diagnostics and gave them a call. Right from the outset, communication with Sean & Ian was clear and concise outlining exactly what they intended to do and gave me a clear estimation of the costs involved. They helpfully provided me with some contact numbers for recovery services they use themselves, which I organised for the following Tuesday evening. Once the car was in their possession, they swiftly diagnosed that the ECU was fried from water ingress and ordered a 2nd hand replacement. By Friday morning, they had recoded and installed the replacement ECU and had the car put back together ready to be collected. The final bill came in very reasonable and the turn around was excellent! I would heartily recommend this company to anyone who finds themselves in a similar predicament. Five stars out of five!
Local garage waste of space. Found the number. Sean was extremally helpful, diagnostic carried out same day, helped looked for the part, even thought supplier found was very unprofessional, Sean was very supportive and professional. The team then went the extra mile, by staying late to fix the issue, so my car made it in time for it's MOT. Very grateful for helpful, professional, team. Would highly recommend.
Very friendly and welcoming service, Sean had no problem taking time to patiently explain my car's problem to me. The issue was fixed for a very reasonable price, I would highly recommend.
Such a rare find - a company that is helpful and trustworthy as well as good at their work! We thought we were in for big bill with another local company until we found Sean who discovered it was something simple. Don't go anywhere else!
