Fairly new to Norwich and took a chance on this place having seen other reviews. Wasn't dissapointed, very good garage, very thorough and very reasonable prices too. Will be going back to get my MOT done in a couple of months.
I have been going to Chris Baker ever since I started driving on the recommendation of a friend and all of their family. They have always been fair with pricing and have detailed every aspect of the cost of any repairs or MOT I have had done. Even when I had an issue with could have cost me over £1000 to repair on a car which wasn't not worth it they performed a pre-inspection and called me to say I could stop with the repair at that point and only pay the inspection fee or they could continue with the repair but they highly recommended not doing so (which ultimately meant them losing out on a costly payday from me!). Whenever I have gotten a loan car from them they have always been clean and in good shape; there is no charge for the loan vehicle just as long as it is returned with the same level of fuel as it was provided with. I will always recommend Chris Baker to anyone who asks for a local garage and I wouldn't go anywhere else. (The only downside is no weekend hours but that's understandable as they're a small family owned business).
